Disney Lorcana Flavor Text and Fiction

Writing for a trading card game demands narrative precision—just a few words must evoke character, tone, and world. I partnered with the Lorcana narrative and design teams to help shape the game’s overarching story and express it through card flavor text that gave the world its emotional heartbeat.

Beyond the cards themselves, I contributed to expanding the universe through original website fiction, working closely with Disney stakeholders and the Lorcana creative team. Each line moved through Disney’s rigorous approval process, requiring careful stewardship of canon, tone, and brand voice while helping define new corners of a shared storytelling universe.

The result was a cohesive narrative foundation that supported player immersion from launch and helped establish Lorcana’s identity as a rich, story-driven world.
